Group Counseling

Group Counseling sessions are intimate settings that allows for a nonjudgement atmosphere. Group counseling Provides sessions with six individuals minimum, scheduled for up to 90 minutes. Group Counseling sessions requires commitment, confidentiality, following group norms, respecting the right of others, and their opinions. Group counseling sessions provides an opportunity to learn new ways of thinking. Group counseling addresses anger management, parenting skills, and women/girl issues. In addition, group counseling is a proven effective modality. Research has shown it offers a safe space for people to express themselves in front of others without the fear of being judged. Clients in Group sessions develop empathy and compassion for others while building relationships.
